Its ultimate portrayal is the triumph of love over hate, peace over war and justice over injustice. The eye of the storm in this tale of enmity is lovely Rama (Deepti Navel) who was the beloved of Jai Singh (Jackie Shroff). Best Friend Oberoi (Anupam Kher) finds himself fatally attracted to the same girl. Lies, blackmail and fear psychology are resorted to in order to get Rama to marry Oberoi. Kingpin of the underworld Sardar Saab (Manohar Singh) trie several times to bring the two swom enemies Oberoi an Jai Singh to bury the hatchet ... but in vain! The outcome is the elimination of the peace maker and bloodshed becomes the order of the day. In the midst of this power struggle, unknown to both the waring parties, love strikes between Jain Singhs younger brother Suraj (Sunny Deol) and the ravishin sister of Oberoi, Sapna (Manisha Koirala). Love waxes eloquent on Screen. Interspersed with medlodies songs, the beautiful portrayal of this romance is sheer magic, lending a softness to the film. With love in the air and battle on the grond, the fate of the tow lovers seems to be hanging somewhere in between! One clandestine meeting after another follows with the help of Raghu (Raghuveer Yadav) and bhabhi Rama, who, trapped in farcical marriage to Oberoi wants Sapna to at least know the joy of the true love. A superb piece of comedy enacted by surajs auto rickshaw driver friend Raghu provides a humourous break to the tension that has been building up. The same reckshaw driver friends is killed by Oberois gang to create the bait for drawing the till-now-dormant Suraj into the dangerous game of enmity. The sleeping tiger in Surag is provoked and seeing red, he seeks vengeance. Enmity is reinforced and love takes back-seat for now. However as his beloved Sapna reminds him of his original vow to abstain from violence, love is re-kindled and the duo decide to run away from the complicated urban atmosphere to the simple living of the village Headed for Surajs native village, the story meanders around the rustic rural life. The story takes succumbs to the power of love that has so far kept the lovers united. Decideing to do the right thing, Jai Singh takes the Sapna bak to her brother Oberoi and offers the olive branch to him to restore their friendship. Oberoi has no such intention and the story takes violent twists with an all-out firing between the two gangs. Admist the spray of bullets, high flames and burnt buildings. Rama has a heart rending scene where she begs for peace kowing that she had been the reason for this ugly enmity. Will the tyranny of hatred be wiped out? Will love reigs supreme and the two lovers unite forever?

Cadacoss-wreath of seven stars from the album-Corona Borealis When they formed in 1997, Finland's Cadacross had it in their minds to play aggressive death metal, but after a set of poorly received demos (1997's Power of the Night and 1998's The Bloody Way) they began swerving toward accessibility, adopting increasingly melodic power metal and folk music elements that were simultaneously becoming all the rage in their homeland. Thus transformed, Cadacross featuring screeching vocalist Georg Laakso guitarist Tommi Saari keyboardist Mathias Nygärd bassist Jarkko Lemmetty and drummer Janne Salo made their debut with 2001's So Pale Is the Light album, which was released by the independent Low Frequency label. Cadacross' metamorphosis was not yet complete, however, and when vocalist Laakso informed his comrades that their next album would take them even further away from their violent death metal roots, everyone in the band either quit or was fired. Unperturbed, Laakso picked up a guitar and proceeded to surround himself with new members: Sami Aarnio (vocals) Tino Ahola (guitar) Jukka-Pekka Miettinen (bass) Antti Ventola (keyboards) Nina Laakso (backing vocals) and Kimmo Miettinen (drums) prior to recording 2002's epic metal opus Corona Borealis.
