How the Big Beat changed Pop music (Eydie Gorme + others)

America in the 1950s. Black Rhythm and Blues became accepted. These songs were happening around 1957, and show the influence on pop. Once again Eydie Gorme shows us how to segue from Pop to Rock. (I say so) I think the best example of the R&B big beat was Fats Domino, who started in the mid-50s with big hits like Blueberry Hill and I'm In Love Again. Billy Vaughn was an orchestra leader who knew how to adjust to the rock+roll sound, and his records were everywhere during the first era. There was a movie titled "The Big Beat" in 1957/58. 1) The Big Beat - Fats Domino. In the movie of that name. 2) Your Kisses Kill Me - Eydie Gorme (wife of Steve Lawrence, and the duo Steve and Eydie) 3) Near You - by the Billy Vaughn orchestra. Found on his "Golden Saxophone" album. 4) Promise Her Anything - Dean Martin - the best. Better than Steve Lawrence even. Another good example is Frank Sinatra's Jealous Lover.
