This is my seventh Mugen video. This time around, I'm showcasing another AI patch. This time it's for Kyo NBC by Beppu. Once again, it's another simple copy-and-paste routine: I moved the XI char's hard CPU .cmd into the NBC one's folder, and changed the filenames in his .def file. The NBC version is pretty much exactly like the XI one, except he loses his ground projectile from KoF '94, '95, '97 and his Kusanagi form in KoF 2002, 2003 and XI (unless Jin's version was an edit... ~:-(), and his chokehold desperation move (I forgot what it was called again). His programming, as you can notice, is a bit off compared to the XI one (his flow is very strange and weird compared to the other Kyos that he made... there are a lot of trajectorical differences, yet again). He seems to have been improved and upgraded since the previous showcase that I made of him... his Orochinagi and Fire Punch delay/appearance time are no longer too quick to connect with their opponents (super attempts were hardly ever successful before). Once again, I pit him up against the entire Aiduzzi trio and CvS2 regular edited Ryu by P.O.T.S. He actually managed to beat Ella TWICE 2-1, but I didn't finish recording the first attempt (pressed stop too soon, in a moment of classic stupidity). In the first one, he K.O.'ed Ella with an Orochinagi... but, here, he does it by means of a Fire Punch (much like Ysaquerai (^_^)... he also does this against Ubu). :) The first two tracks I used, "Bogey At Your Six" and "Blast Off," were also composed by Jake Kaufman, and utilized the N2A03/DAC sound engine. I posted the download link in my previous Mugen vid. As for the last two, I got them from the KoF '94 AST (I figured I'd use a different style of flavor here, since guys like azn and aj are using the original versions). It showcases Raiwa's newer, most recently updated version of Ryo Sakazaki (the FFS version, with some additional moves, including a custom Hien-Shippu-Kyaku, a Death Valley Driver throw, the old-school Ichigeki Hissatsu DM/SDM and the ability to summon a Robert Garcia striker) against seven tough opponents: Warusaki3's CvS2 one on EX-groove, Byakko's (the one that pretty much EVERYBODY'S seen or even used), Duende Macabro's NGBC version (a little less well known), the entire Aiduzzi trio and P.O.T.S.'s edited regular CvS2 Ryu. His AI, IMHO, is probably one of the best around right now (considering how hard it is to find a GDS char with a decent CPU, apart from MugenMage and laiso7's) for a creation of his class. He makes excellent use of DVDs if you're up-close, is exquisite at countering an aerial onslaught with a well-timed Ryuuga, tends to jump and fly around the screen a lot with Hien Shippu Kyakus, can do excellent combo chains and does a decent job of timing super moves when he feels the time is right. His strategies are, for the most part, impressive (but one thing hardcore players can take advantage of is that he spends a good amount of time on some occasions charging up his chakra bar; you can also use this this technique to beat old-school SNK bosses, including 26-year-old Geese Howard in Art of Fighting 2 (the hidden boss that you can only get to by beating the game on one credit without losing a single round)). As for the two new Ryos that I'm showcasing in my video: Waru3's is actually very decent. He makes great usage of Just Defends and parries, uses cool combos and is very adept at hitting you with a hyper just when you're least hoping to eat one. As for Byakko's, it is VERY hard, particularily due to the fact that it shoots full-screen Ko'ou Kens at you IMMENSELY quickly, evades attacks pretty well, and is incredible at hitting you with quick Shoran Kyakus and cancelling supers into each other. You already know everyone else, though, so I'm not going to mention them. Also, sorry about not including aj's Macromedia winquote. I just didn't feel that it was smart or necessary to attach it to any vid that features a char who is not, in any sort of way, associated with my team. It features two matches, both featuring Arma-X (the newly modified/upgraded/improved version by PsychoJolteon) going up against two IMMENSELY tough teams (the four toughest Shotokans in Mugen; Evil Ken and Evil Ryu by Reu (rest in peace once again, Reuben Kee), Evil Dan by ilcane87 and Death Ogre by JUN), as well as P.O.T.S.'s four toughest ones (Master Ryu, Shin Gouki, Morrigan and Lei-Lei). The first duel took me SIX TRIES TO GET A GOOD COPY OF. D.O. is freaking intense. I can see why so many people value him over the other versions as highly as they do. This one has the dude at his highest levels of comboability, makes much better usage of ALL of his specials and super moves (as well as chaining them). Not to mention this one can even PARRY (if the old ones could as well, I barely saw them perform it; for this swinger, it's like a regular thing). I used, in order, Run-DMC's "Down With The King" and Eric B. & Rakim's "Don't Sweat The Technique" for each challenge. The second 1 took me only I try. Damn you HyperCam, how could you lower the quality PORQUEEEE!!!!111 Last video of 2007 ftw The title literately translates to the Slaughter of Haruhi This is a fight between new member Mexican Typhoon(O Ilusionista) against Haruhi(Choiyer) Look at "Haruhi's rapetastic AI" Ha, thats funny look at my rapetastic AI This video is just something to backup my rant, but its also a showcase of skill since it shows me playing as the newest member of Team Latino, Mexican Typhoon, after me playing with him for a few minutes just to check him out. Haruhi is not at all a cheap character. She might have good AI but its nothing more then a challenge. As you can see in this video Haruhi is owned by a much slower character then she is. If she was cheap I would have used my whole team against her. This makes me question the many people in the M.U.G.E.N. community who claim her AI to be 'rapetastic'. Maybe I'm making to much of this but i think that every time someone opens M.U.G.E.N. they should be expecting a challenge, not a character that they can rape. Enough of this rant I'm boring my self on with the details. Haruhi as you have read above has good AI and likes to string combos together, these combos can be devastating if you don't pay attention. The only thing you can do is use your brain and pick at the little holes in her armor. Once she makes a mistake, punish her as much as you can by stringing combos together. Mexican Typhoon is a pallete edit of T.Hawk and plays in the Marvel v.s. Capcom style.His specials and moves are in the same style plus when he sets people aflame, that flame sprite is there. I don't know if his moves are the same as in MvC or if he's even in the game because i never played MvC 2(the first one I have but he wasn't in it) Highlights of the fight: (1)0:40 Haha, who deals deadly combos now..biatch (2)0:57 Haruhi makes me look like a dumbass :( Also she gets her first hit on me.
