Alan goes to check on Emily, Jason goes into the sitting room, Ned and Mac discuss why Mac is helping Jason. - Jason and Emily. She explains that Dorman died on the 2nd anniversary of her mother's death. He's sympathetic. She asks him to visit again. - Alan, Monica and Mac in the sitting room, Alan doesn't trust Mac's motives and leaves the room. Jason comes in. Mac tells them that the truth about the motel is likely to come out and that they need to stick to their alibis.~

Part 81. Robert and Holly discuss the murder case. Robert can't figure out why the Quartermaines are sticking to their Chessler story instead of coming clean with the real reason for blackmail. Holly noticed that Bobbie wasn't exactly happy with her involvement with Robert. Alice arrives for more questioning. She admits that she knew Susan was blackmailing the Quartermaines. Robert wants to know why she never mentioned it before. She didn't think the Quartermaines had anything to do with Susan's death. Alice said that Susan, at the end, became very vicious. A messenger arrives with the police artists' rendition of an older Tolliver. Tolliver tells Jimmy Lee that he's got the itch to get going and won't stick around. Tolliver tells Jimmy Lee that everybody needs a pot of gold to pursue. Robert takes the artist's work to Jimmy Lee to see if any of the pictures look like the man he saw in jail. While Jimmy Lee is going through the pictures, Tolliver comes in for his cheque. Robert nabs him. (What's police work without a bit of luck!?)

Part 111. Alan and Monica break the news to Lila and Edward that Tolliver is dead. Robert asks Rick what happened to Tolliver. Celia visits Jimmy Lee at the construction trailer. She's bringing him the clothes he wore during the party - she had them cleaned and pressed. Edward is relieved that Tolliver is dead. Stella comes in and tells them that Robert's going to be holding a press conference about Tolliver. Edward wants to talk to Robert before he has the press conference. Robert finds out that Tolliver died right after Jimmy Lee saw him and was surprised to find out that he had died. Meanwhile, Celia is lingering in the construction trailer and trying her really strange flirting style on Jimmy Lee. Robert arrives at the construction trailer and is still convinced that Tolliver gave him the papers. Edward goes to the Scorpio house but Robert's not there. Holly and Edward talk about the past briefly - Edward called her a "con artist and a thief" before to which Edward apologizes for speaking at the heat of the moment. Edward rushes off to Robert's press conference.

Part 20. Steve holds a staff meeting to discuss Alan's disappearance. Amy seems especially upset at Alan's "death". He rearranges staff to cover Alan's work at the clinic. The divers find plane wreckage at the bottom of the lake. Anna talks to the air traffic controller that was on duty during Alan's flight but she doesn't really have anything to say. Steve, Audrey and Bobbie visit the Quartermaines. Jimmy Lee has set up a meeting with Alan's insurance company and his lawyer. Edward and Jimmy Lee put on another performance (it's better this time). Jimmy Lee plants the seed of doubt into the insurance company's mind about Monica. Jimmy Lee insinuates that Monica wanted Alan dead. Alan, still in heels and that hideous dress, returns the rental car and heads off to buy a bus ticket. The sight of Alan as this enormous woman always cracks me up. www.savethequartermaines.com

Part 29. Felicia visits Monica to let her know how it went with the boys at camp. She brings some presents that they made for them, including a cup for Alan. This brings Monica to tears. Jake comes to talk with Monica. She tells Jake that Anna has been asking questions about her. Alan/Simon is eating all the ice cream before he serves the customers. Ice cream for... 25 cents!! Charity and Simon are getting along great. Tiffany has finished breakfast and wonders what's for lunch. Both he and Tiff are drunk. Jimmy Lee tells Tiff that he planted a bunch of evidence around to make it look like Alan died. Captain Lewis brings Alan's scarf and flying helmet to Anna. They were found at the bottom of the falls. Anna calls off the search. She phones Monica and tells her that they've called off the search and she wants to see Monica at the station...and bring her lawyer.
