Random fight, pretty good. Only thing is, I didn't have regular Gen back then, so I had to use Soul Gen, lol. Jin and Kou exchanged furious punches and kicks, neither tiring, but both sustaining damage. Finally, Jin asked: Jin: How do you know... about what's going on? Kou: A man... showed me... He showed me... everything. Jin could already tell where this was going. Jin: I think I know... who you're talking about. Kou: Oh? And who is that? Jin: The man... He wore a large cloak, and you could not see his features... could you? Kou looked rather surprised. Kou: How did...? A voice answered. ???: It was all a part of my plan. They turned to find the cloaked figure floating in midair, somehow keeping pace with the train. Jin fixed his posture. Jin: I think it's finally time you told us who you are. He heard the man chuckle. As he spoke his next words, his voice began to split, as if more than one were coming from him at once. ???: I go by many names. In the end, I still represent the same thing. The eternal peace that all life shall find whether they seek it or not. The figure lifted a card to his face. They couldn't see it clearly due to how far he was from them, but it quickly grew in size. It grew 'till it masked the figure altogether, and, then, it began to spin. The first rotation revealed the man to no longer be there. After a few seconds, they saw a figure that no living human could mistake. ???: I am the harvester of souls, guide to the dead, and he who you shall meet when your times come to an end. A large scythe materialized and floated next to him. Death: I am Death. Death then let out an inhuman laugh. Both Jin and Kou could not believe their eyes. Kou was nervous. Jin was angry. Death: There's nothing special about you, Jin. You just had the will to gather what I needed in order to set the stage for the summoning. You were not the only one eager to summon the Shar-Makai into your world. Jin: What?!? Death: The only difference between you and the others is that -they- wished to control them. -They- only wished for the power of the Shar-Makai. Jin was starting to piece things together. Jin: So, you went about our world, convincing others to prepare the ritual? Death: You're close. I would have never been satisfied with just your world. Jin: -Just- our world? Death let out another chuckle. Death: You mortals really have no comprehension of the Multiverse. Your world is not the only. I visited many worlds, convincing misguided souls to unleash the Shar-Makai. Jin: And what did you hope to do with all of that? Death: The Shar-Makai are more than just your average demon. They have the ability to rip holes in worlds. In short, they were freed so that they would rip holes in between the many worlds, thus linking them all together. Jin: And what would that have done? Death: You mortals were never quite capable of accepting one another. With the new worlds open, new powers would form. Conquest and war would erupt into a scale far beyond what has ever been seen in any world. The fighting would bring about darkness, destruction, and chaos unto the Multiverse. Jin: And what would you plan to do with such a screwed up existence?!? How would you even manage to control it?!? Death chuckled. Death: That is none of your concern. You have served your purpose very well, Jin. I was hoping to use you more in the future, but I suppose you would never have ammounted to much more. I shall grant you the honor of personally being brought to rest by myself. Enjoy the afterlife. With these words, Death sent his scythe spiraling towards Jin. Jin jumped out of the way. Jin: You're gonna have to do more than that to kill me. As he focused his attention on Death, the scythe began to spiral back towards him. Kou saw this. Kou: Watch out! Kou tackled Jin onto the ground, the scythe cutting off a few strands of Kou's hair before returning to Death. Death: Oh? Kou got off of Jin and helped him back up. Jin looked at Kou curiously, but Kou had his eyes fixed angrily on Death. Jin knew what he was thinking. They worked themselves into their own stances. Death: Do you actually believe you can defeat me? Death let out a maniacal laugh. Death: Oh ho ho, that is -very- amusing! Suddenly, his voice became very grim. Death: But I suppose you can join him, too, Kou. Saying this, Death began to move to his right. As he did, another Death split away from him, forming its own scythe as it came into existence. They both spoke at once. Death: I shall show you the true pain and pleasure of death! --------------------- At first, I did this match against only one Death. He had more attack power than he normally would, since it was a two-on-one fight, but it wasn't very exciting. So, I tried a two-on-two and started getting my ass handed to me. My bro finally told me that his scythe is technically a high attack, and that blocking while crouching wouldn't work. With that, it made the fight much easier. The cool thing about either recorded match was that it only took one try to get optimal footage. ;) Credits: GOKUHI for making Death13.

(Continued from 21a) Kou and Shinji found an elevator. It was open and waiting. They ran inside and pressed the first floor button. The door closed and they felt the elevator travel down for a few moments before opening its doors, again. They exitted to find themselves in a large room with a massive spiral staircase. Before they had a chance to look around, they heard a voice. It seemed to come from all around them. ???: So, Jin's finally decided to show himself to us. But what's this? You two aren't Jin. What were you doing with him? Kou shouted back. Kou: We came to get my classmates out of here! ???: Oh, so you're one of the students we didn't manage to capture. I heard that you defeated some of our officers. You'd make a great addition to our forces if you joined us. Kou: I'm not going to join you! Ever! ???: Ah, yes, I know. And you, the other one. The one with inhuman lifesigns. What is your name? Shinji: My name is... Shinji. ???: Shinji... Such a strange name... for a monster. Shinji let out a small, pathetic sigh. Kou: Don't say things like that about him! He's more humane than you guys, at least! Just then, they both heard something. It was a combination of squealing, scratching and stomping. ???: And here they are. Kou: Here are what? A strange creature lept from around the staircase. It sat on all fours, its eyeless face directed at them, small squeals and grunts coming from it. As it stood upright, another three came from around the corner. Kou & Shinji: What are they?!? ???: Do you like them? We found a small brood of these creatures only a week ago. We've been keeping them healthy and active, but nothing gives them more satisfaction than tearing living prey to shreds. The lead creature began to drool. Its saliva hissed and steamed as it hit the floor. Shinji stood in front of Kou. Shinji: I can handle this. Kou: Hey! I'm not a kid, you know! The small group sprinted towards them. A man with burning red hair intercepted them. A swiping noise was made, the creatures squealed, and they collapsed, their heads relieved and dissolving from their bodies. The man was holding a long sword, green bile dripping from it. ???: Hmm?!? We didn't notice anyone else enter the building! How did you get in here?!? The man stood still, the blood of the creatures dripping onto the floor. Kou: Who... are you? Many more of the creatures began to pour from around the staircase. Man: Go to them. Kou: What? Man: Your friends... Go to them. Kou: But what about the...? Shinji: Let us take care of this, okay? Kou: Shinji! Shinji: These things are really dangerous. We'll try to hold them off. You need to make sure that all of your friends are okay. Kou opened his mouth, trying to figure out what to say. He couldn't think of anything. Kou: You're coming back with us. Kou ran into the direction of the cells, turning a corner and leaving sight. Shinji drew the Knife. Shinji: What's your name? The man didn't respond. He shifted the position of his sword, and the creatures advanced, hissing as they came closer. --------------------- Again, a lot of dropped frames; several dropped at the very start of the first round, and a lot more dropped during the third. Again, I'm thinking of trying a different program for capturing these videos. I heard of one that someone I know is using, but I'll need to see if the sound and video quality of the videos it records are as good as those done by SnagIt. SnagIt would be better if it didn't drop so many frames. I heard that it might just be that our computer can't really handle so much data going through it at once. That might be it; I've had MUGEN crash on me, before, from playing Survival a lot. It still doesn't make sense, though, that it'll drop frames at undefined rates. *sigh* Well, whatever. Sorry for the dropped frames. Also, I know the music is an MIDI, but I couldn't think of anything actiony for this fight. Credits: Xltima for making Xltima ( :P ) and HSR for making the Alien Queen.

I had to repost this video. Soooo... Yeah... --------------------- The massive creature collapsed onto the ground, bile spewing from the wounds on its body. ???: Oh? Finished already? You managed to kill all of our specimens. Oh, well, enough research. Our chances of finding more in the future are probably favorable. We have no more need for this structure. A siren different from the one before began to ring out. ???: You made it into the building without any troubles, but will you manage to get out? You've only got a few minutes, and you're nowhere near the entrance. I hope to see more of you in the future. Take care, now. Shinji: Wait! Kou: Shinji! Shinji turned around and found Kou, along with several other kids about his age, running towards him and the man. Kou: What happened? Shinji: This place is... Man: ... going to self-destruct. Kou: What?!? Several of the others began to panic and worry. Kou: Damn! There're too many of us to use the elevator, and we don't know how to get out! What do we... Man: Get to where... you came in. Kou: But I'm not even sure how we got here in the first... Man: I'll lead... The man ran towards the spiral staircase. Kou: Hey! Kou, Shinji and the others ran after him. As they were running, Kou remembered something. He drew the stone from his pocket. ----- Jin and Chiharu stared at each other. Chiharu: How can you manage to keep your strength up after fighting so much? Jin suddenly wondered that, himself. He rarely felt tired from a fight, and any wounds or damage he seemed to take also seemed to heal within minutes. Why...? He heard Kou's voice in his head. Kou: Jin! Jin: What? Kou: I've got everybody. Hurry! You need to get out! This place is going to blow up! Jin: I kinda guessed that... Jin looked at Chiharu. She removed her helmet, sweat dripping across her face. Jin: Shouldn't you be leaving, now? Chiharu: I'll make it out in time. She gave him a rather intimidating smile. Chiharu: Can you say the same about yourself? Jin didn't like the way she was talking to him. He turned his back to her, keeping his gaze on her. He began to run back to the stairs that they had come down from. He finally looked away. Jin opened the door to the rooftop to find a bright flash of light. He saw Kou, Shinji, and someone he had never seen before standing by the magic circle. Jin ran up to them. He looked at the man. Jin: Who's this supposed to be? Shinji: I'm sorry. I tried asking for his name, but... he didn't reply. ???: What a surprise. Not only did we find Jin, we also found Xltima. Today must be our lucky day. Jin turned back to find a young man and a girl. The girl was wearing an outfit that Jin recognized immediately. Jin: More members of the... Ash: My name is Ash. Her name is Fliz. And we are part of Adam and Eve. Fliz: Ash! Ash shrugged, giving Fliz a strange smile. Ash: Even if he escapes, again, he'll run into more of us. He'd have learned of our organization's name long before he'd join us. Jin: Adam and Eve? As in the first humans? Ash: That's correct. I'm not going to give you the reasons to our name... yet. If you want to know, I -might- just tell you. If your nice to me, that is. Jin: I don't plan on joining. Ash made a mockery of a saddened face. Ash: Ah, yes, and, as you can see, that upsets me very much. Jin looked back at the circle. Jin: Kou, Shinji, and... whatever your name is, get into the circle, now, and tell Minis to close it. I'll take care of these two. Kou: But Jin... Jin: Don't worry. You've got the stone. When I'm done, you can just warp me out of here. Kou: ... Right. Kou and Shinji stepped into the circle, disappearing in a flash of light. Xltima stayed behind. Jin: I told you to get in the... Xltima: I'll leave... my own way. Jin: ... Whatever. Ash and Fliz began to approach them. Jin: I'm not going to let you through. Ash: Oh, we're not going to go through. We've got you right where we want you. --------------------- Fast and brutal.
