natalie: * looks at nick and then back at frankie * so frankie, how was your morning so far? frankie: * plops on the ground * it's getting worse. nick: why? frankie: i saw this girl this morning. and you and joe are in love.. natalie: * looks at nick and smiles and then looks back at frankie * have you talked to her? frankie: no. nick: do you want to? frankie: yes! natalie: * gets up and grabs frankie's hands * well then, let's go find her! * runs outside with frankie * nick: * stands there smiling and then walks outside to spend the day with his little brother and the only girl he's ever loved * [ authors note: cheesey, i know. but still .. aww :) ] with kevin and alyssa kevin: * tries to swerve out of the way but then smashes into a telephone pole. the last thing he remembers is looking over at alyssa and saying he loves her. he wakes up in a room all alone and then looks to his right and sees alyssa in a bed about 5 feet away. he tries to call her name but no sound comes out, and then a doctor walks in. he looks up at the doctor with wide eyes * doctor: hello, kevin. we're gonna need to run a couple of tests. kevin: * sits up and points to alyssa * doctor: we're not sure about alyssa. but, i see you can't speak right now, so we are gonna need to take some tests. kevin: * does all he can to break through the pain and tell the doctor how he feels about the situation. he finally does so, but his voice is very raspy and he's struggling * please, doctor. that girl is everything to me, i need to stay here with her. doctor: * starts rolling kevin out of the room * i'm afraid that's not possible right now. kevin: don't tell me what's possible! i need to be in there! doctor: * keeps rolling him into a room with lots of equipment * this won't take long. * does whatever to kevin and tests his voice and shizz * kevin: * wakes up an hour later, about a foot away from alyssa's bed and his voice still raspy. he reaches out his hand to tap alyssa's arm * alyssa. alyssa: * stays the same * kevin: * gets a lump in his throat and shakes her arm more * alyssa come on, you gotta wake up. lyss! alyssa: * doesn't move * kevin: i'm so sorry. * grabs her hand and reaches over to the other side of his bed and grabs his cell phone to call joe * joe: hello? kevin: joe. joe: what's wrong!? kevin: me and alyssa.. i don't know what happened. we're in some hospital. she's not waking up.. joe: stay calm, kevin. have you talked to the doctor? kevin: barely. joe: kev, things are gonna work out for the best. just keep talking to her, and maybe she'll wake up. kevin: * whispering * okay. joe: is that it? kevin: thanks. * hangs up and then looks at alyssa * i know you alyssa, you gotta be strong. we'll get through this. i'm not gonna leave here until you get up.. * starts to fade off but jumps up when a bunch of surgeons come in and take alyssa out of the room. after all the chaos kevin is left there alone and scared about himself and alyssa * with joe and kayla in their room, watching tv. kayla: * after joe hangs up * was that kevin? joe: yeah. * staring ahead * he and alyssa were in a car accident.. kayla: oh no! are they okay!? joe: they don't know about alyssa.. kayla: * gets a lump in her throat and hears natalie, nick, and frankie outside laughing * should we tell them? joe: they're having fun right now, we'll tell them later. i hope kevin's gonna be okay.. * tears fill up his eyes * kayla: * walks over to joe and sits next to him * me too. joe: * leans his head on her chest and lets the tears roll down his cheeks * aww, poor kevin. and joe. i wanna cry so bad right now. hahahaha, but kyle xy will cheer me up :) but bam! deo!: WHY WAS ALYSSA RUSHED OUT OF THE ROOM!? WILL SHE BE OKAY!? HOW IS KEVIN GONNA HANDLE ALL THIS!? WHAT WILL EVERYONE SAY WHEN THEY FIND OUT ABOUT THE ACCIDENT!? Getting under the bar and "Hoping for the Best" isn't going to cut it. Before you even think about adding weight, start with the bar and work your way up to a desired weight. The weight on the bar may change, but your Set Up shouldn't! The Set Up: 1) Lay on bench sliding head and shoulders past the bar. 2) Place feet into position by planting toes into the ground. 3) Keeping feet in desired position, grab the bar to adjust by sliding head where eyes are in line with the bar. 4) Hips are tight, back is arched, shoulder blades are pinched together and down. 5) With a tight grip, squeeze the bar and fill your belly with air, unrack bar and position bar in line with the lower portion of your chest (nipple line). Without losing position, lower bar to chest and lock out. It may feel uncomfortable, but get used to it! Setting up in this manner will save your body in the long run. Every time you get under the bar ask yourself: .Where should my feet be? .How should my hips be? .How should my back be? .What position are my shoulders in? .Where are my eyes at? .How's my grip? .How's my air?
