At the beginning of this clip, you hear a ravens calls as it approaches the Pelican Harbor nest on Santa Cruz Island, where K26 has just finished eating a fish that her mate, K10, brought to the nest for her as part of their courtship. The raven barely touches the nest before taking off as an angry (and vocal) K26 arrives to defend any nestovers (leftovers on the nest) and her nest. K10 brings a large, white fish to his Pelican Harbor nest on Santa Cruz Island, followed closely by his mate, a very vocal K26, who immediately grabs the fish and warns him off. He begins moving sticks around while she gorges on the fish. While sitting on the E-branch at the back of her Pelican Harbor nest on Santa Cruz Island, K26 stretches, scratches and 'lightens her load,' before hopping down to the nest bowl to do a little nestorating on her own.
