This is the Hi Res version of Mugen with all the available Hi Res Guilty Gear XX characters. One of the advantages to the PC version of Guilty Gear XX is that you can put in different backgrounds from other Guilty Gear games and play with characters you couldn't normally. Like A.B.A. Note: The graphics are muddy and the frame rate sucks because of the flash compression and the video capture. The real thing is crystal clear and smooth as glass.

If this battle is a testament to anything, it's that I am not that good against SNK-type characters. Team Burning Waves is represented by three SNK characters, and one Capcom character in CvS style. This team is tough. Rock and V. Ken are Warusaki characters, so you can expect some good AI there. Terry is the product of Sander71113, meaning he's tough as hell. And Kusanagi is CCIIronMUGEN's, so there's a challenge there too. I decided against using ANY MvC-styled fighters. Problem though, I used Cody, who is SOMEWHAT MvC styled, but whatever. Stage: (???) The strange creature dead, Ella moved on. At the end of the hallway, she entered through a door and found herself in a laboratory of some sorts. There were frozen humans hanging from the ceiling. Then she saw someone throw rocks at them. A human, here? Eventually, the chunk of ice broke, and the thing inside fell down. It looked extremely vile. The two began to fight; the human seemed to be losing. Ella joined the fray as she might need the human's help in taking down this monster altogether. ----------------------- This is Peter Griffin by Arcturus. He is less crappy than Kool-Aid, but still more retarded. He consists of sprites stolen from one of Homer's intros. Some of them are edited to a very minor extent to represent attacks. One thing I wonder about; What the hell is with the negatives? All Arcturus has to do is steal the sprites, yet he still manages to screw it up. Confounding. Like Kool, TPG has really high attack power, but not as much. He does, however, posess supers, which are more overpowered than ever. All in all, this was a fun match. Nothing above making fun of crappy characters. By the way, the Peter Griffin who is not terrible has been edited by GBX. He's got a new taunt (which you'll see twice in the video) and some minor CLSN updates, a new intro, tweaked intros and voctory anims, etc. Still no AI, though. I decided to play as Shiki this time as I faced off against Shin Eddie by Knightmare106. I had originally felt that this would point out the cheapness of this character, but now that I think about it, he's not quite as bad as I had originally thought. Yes, he's fast and he can be difficult to beat at times, but he went down way easier than I had anticipated. I didn't even use any supers. The one thing I don't like is Shin Eddie's ability to max out his power meter with a single move. After doing us, he usually becomes far more aggressive and makes liberal use of his projectiles and traps. One trap consists of a swirling vortex that will hold you briefly, allowing Eddie to take a free shot at you. The other is a mouth that will bite you upon contact, doing a fair amount of damage. He also has an instant KO move, which he did not use against me. Regardless of whether he's cheap or not, I had fun in this short fight.
