Well, i started to like Predator warrior A LOT. He is a very unique character. It took me a while to master some combos and others. Protoman and 2k-tan had split up to search for the girl, and now the former was rushing along the museum hallways, heading towards the sound of combat. He came to a halt just outside the exhibit as Ayu flailed at the monstrous girl that had continued after her. She had fought as best she could, but the woman just got back up again, her neck rolling about her shoulders before she pressed forward again. Stepping into the room, he changed his hand into a buster. He brought it to bear, aiming it at the blue-skinned woman. He would've fired immediately, but something behind them managed to grab his attention and stay his hand for a moment. Around Ayu and her aggressor, the surroundings began to twist and blur as the museum and its artifacts slowly began to be replaced with something more... sinister. The glass windows vanished, leaving tall columns, a couple adorned by massive stone sculptures, giving a glimpse to a dark world beyond. Dark clouds, like the ones that filled the sky outside the museum, roiled and seethed in the sky beyond. They stretched for what seemed like forever, with nothing coming up from below to pierce the monotony. He shook his head. This was no time to be gaping at the scenery. He took another step forward. "Ayu!" The girl and the Chinese Vampire both turned, the latter taking a blast of plasma to the face, her head snapping back as it connected. It circled back forward again as the automaton closed the gap between himself and Ayu. The jiangshi tilted her head, and then grinned widely. "Nihao!" Protoman positioned himself between Ayu and the woman, letting go of his buster just long enough to push her back lightly. "Ayu, get back. Let me handle this." "Uguuu~..." She started to sniffle again "It'll be alright, Ayu. This is..." he searched for words as he kept his buster trained on his opponent. "This is just a... a game." Her whimpering quieted. "A... game?" "That's right, and team Kangetsu is going to win just for you," he explained quickly to calm her down, looking over his shoulder and flashing her what he hoped was a reassuring grin. "Okay?" She blinked, and then smiled. And then she nodded once. "Okay!" ------ Short flavor text compared to the first, yes, but I had to hold off talking about Lei-Lei so I didn't have anything too horrendously massive. I'll touch briefly on fighting her with both Ayu and Protoman here. This is Phantom.of.the.Server's Lei-Lei, in case you were curious. The same person who also made the Ryu that serves in Team Raiden Fighters. Lei-Lei's a goofy fight, considering how loaded to the teeth with random stuff she is. She makes full use of it, too. Statues, knives, chainsaws, gongs, bombs... she can and will use it all. Programming her AI to take advantage of her unique playstyle must have been quite a feat, and I have to applaud PotS for his work. But let's get down to some tidbits about the fights themselves. Two things that Protoman has that are a definite plus over Ayu is that his shove back (MvC standard) is good for getting some distance between him and Lei-Lei, while buster is great for stopping her when she gets to swinging around, slashing like a crazy-person. She tends to chain them together too, if she completes one without getting interrupted. Though, that's not to say Ayu is useless against the attack, with a well timed taiyaki ride or feather dart able to bring Lei-Lei back down. Ayu's Just Defend also helps recover her health from the Chinese Vampire's assault, especially when the chainsaw or the aforementioned pendulum move is involved. Sorry the first video was so text-heavy. I figured it'd be better than having all that text in the video itself. Introductions out of the way, this little "series" should have shorter messages now. I make no promises. I can get rather wordy. And yes, I do have too much free time, figuring out how to make these characters interacting and whatnot make sense. After practicing some more, I've finally decided to let Megumi join the team! However, to get in, she has to take down the 4 cheapest Angel characters from the Neon Genesis Evangelion full game. They'll go from least cheapest to cheapest. Note that I'm not including 18th Angel in this one, even though there no doubt that she is the cheapest out of all of them (seriously, she scares the hell out of me x_x), so we'll go with the regular angels for this one. Like what Chimpmaster said about the LvL 2 characters: More people really need to beat the shit out of these guys. The four cheaptastic angels are..... 5th Angel: This guy is the least cheapest of the four, but still cheap enough to be put on the list (hell, even Wikipedia says he's one of the strongest of the 18 Angels). He floats in mid air and mostly speds his time charging up energy for his beam super. His attacks deal some pretty good damage, but what's really annoying is his AT field attack. This thing acts as a shield, and all the angels have it. He'll use this thing sometimes just before you attack, which gets annoying real fast. He also has a beam super, in which the beam gets bigger according to the amount of energy used for the move (he has 3 levels of power). He also has an insane amount of life. 5000 to be exact (no, I'm not kidding). 12th Angel: Don't be fooled by this guy's appearence. Despite him not having total free movement like the rest of the Angels on this list, he's cheaper than the 5th Angel. Frist off, to damage him, you have to attack his shadow, not the strange checkerboard colored orb thing. To hit the shadow you need to get in close, however, this is where it starts to get risky. His shadow can attack you by forming into a claw and beat you sensless with high damaging combos. He also has a super where he sucks you into his shadow himself. Then your character appears in a bright yellow background and he/she takes hits from out of nowhere. This is similar to Jedah's move where he drags you into the pool of blood, only this thing is worse, as it causes a lot more damage. 15th Angel: Oh my god......Fuck Legendary Ryu (I originally thought he was the king of combos as well.....until I saw this thing), this guy is the god of all comboers! So what makes him the god? ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS STANDARAD ATTACKS HAVE INFINITES IN THEM! He can reach up to 150+ hits easily with his AT field if he corners you! He flys around the screen at high speeds, and he charges at you sometimes without warning. He also has three supers, and only one of them actually isn't cheap. For his first two supers, he'll fly off screen and do one of two things. 1: He'll crash down into the ground, sending you flying with heavy damage. 2: He'll dash from the opposite side of the screen at you. This does a lot of damage, but it's very easy to predict. For his final super, he'll use an unblockable seizure endusing orb which makes the screen flash random colors, and your character gets dragged by the orb, causing a ridiculous amount of damage. 16th Angel: 0_0 Oh......my......god......Next to 18th Angel (I'm still not going to fight her x_x) this is the cheapest Angel from the NGE full game. He takes after his brother (15th Angel) a lot. He floats around the screen freely and charges up for his moves at random points. His attacks mainly consist of morphing his body and using grab moves on you. These deal a lot of damage at times, and his supers and AT field are even worse! His AT field can stop you from combing him at random points, and the only real super I even want to mention is his ultimate one. He'll dash at your character, then go inside him/her, and seconds later a parasite sprouts from your character's head, and it explodes shortly after.
