My Mugen Roster as of 7-15-07 on EVE Battle Screenpack by Mugen Infantry (http://www.mugen-infantry.net/). 520 Characters so far. All are good quality and all the sprites match each other and are great quality (MvC, SNK). Not just some mish mash of characters that dont match (well except for some like Omega Tom Hanks). All characters were gone through before putting this together. Almost all Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Marvel, Guilty Gear, Rage of the Dragon, Jojos Bizarre Adventure, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters, Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the North Star), and Garou Mark of the Wolves characters. 450 Stages are also in this pack. Homer faces another MvC character who tends to stay closer to his actual gameplay, War Machine. With only a matter of time before a new release of Homer, I figured it would be best to get at least one more video in before I make the change. Cless returns from his battle with Kyle to fight a Capcom familiar, Captain Commando. CapCom is a character from a game released in 1991 with the same title. The game was a side-scrolling beat-em-up game, similar to Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. CapCom was the leader of the group, but the game never really was popular in the arcade world. However, once Captain COmmando debuted in Marvel vs Capcom, his popularity soared and soon CapCom was a well known name. Tale of De Tape Don Drago, if you're reading this, I hope you know what you created here just about a week ago. I downloaded Geese 4-in-1 just about 5 days ago... and up until just last night, this guy was practically unstoppable. It was the first time that a character has not only managed to beat every member of DeDeck (Yes, even Shitora's Ciel) methodically, but also destroyed any other AI controlled character thrown his way. Ihoo's Iori, any beppu, PotS, Warusaki3, or Kurai_Naito character; even Rikard's Sachiel... Marvel, SNK, Capcom... other... didn't metter. No matter who stepped up to the plate... and no matter which of the 4 Geeses was being used, Geese CRUSHED them. It was like... insane. The guy has no weak spots. If you attack him, 90% of the time he'll either block and quickly guard attack or just use his auto-counters. If you jump in on him, expect a prompt crounchin uppercut or worse, if he has gauge, a Raising Storm (better have a parrier/just defender...) He'll chip you from afar with high priority Reppukens and Shippukens which only certain characters can negate with their own projectiles; a lot of others will just have theirs eaten. Also, he WILL find a way to either to get his licks in when you're trying to be defensive. Either he'll cross you up, throw you, or use a Rashounamon from practically nowhere. That move in itself he can use freely practically; he'll walk to you = Rashounamon. Jump in = Rashounamon. You try to empty jump at him (jump, don't attack so that he won't counter your ass) = Rashounamon the MOMENT you hit the ground... That and about 10 other setups. To put it blunt, this Geese made me cry... *sniff* Anyways, the mission started to clear up the moment I found myself alterating between using Warusaki's Karin and his Cammy. It became apparent that he can be poked at once he's within a certain distance and that Cammy's Spiral Arrow messes with his counter setups. That and a well timed Hooligan Combination could help as well. Karin could do the poking just as well, but what literally broke this Geese open for me was this particular fight, which found one BIG flaw in Geese 4-in-1. This guy can be baited; as you can see, he meets his downfall at the hands of Karin's Low Yasha Counter almost every time I threw it out within a certain distance of himself (not too close, but definately not far away from him). When he attacked, he barely has a high game when in this "range", making this deal the most damage on him. This, however, did NOT make this battle easy. it went to final round, and in the final round I had to come back (using CvS Karin Kanzuki, mind you; this isn't Oswald behind the wheel here) from practically below 15% health to his 98% to win. It was nuts, and this is the FIRST time I beat him (this is his 'normal' punch version selected). Am I happy about it? Yes and no. Having to abuse a move to win didn't settle for me, but I guess I had to start somewhere. Perhaps I'll do a rematch... Sometime, a WAYS away from today, that is...
