{[Dragonball Z]}-(Tribute To Frieza)-(Tribute To Cell)
DRAGONBALL Z Freeza's name is a pun on all things relating to the cold, with family members introduced later following his example. As his name ends in a short "a" vowel (rather than the long "ā" which usually signifies "er" in kana spellings on English words), the character's name is typically spelled with an "a" at the end (as opposed to "Freezer"). However, during FUNimation's dubbing of Dragon Ball Z, the English writers went with the spelling of "Frieza". This has led to some conjecture over the "true" spelling of his name: U.S. released video games and the English dub use "Frieza", while the Japanese language subtitles on FUNimation's DVDs and Viz Media's translation of the manga use "Freeza". a tribute to freeza and cell it took some time to make this As of 2000, FUNimation has released uncut versions of their Texas-based English dub on to DVD, uncut and with Japanese language track, and English-translation subtitles. Beginning with the Captain Ginyu saga, which took place directly after the Saban/FUNimation-produced episodes, FUNimation has released bilingual, uncut DVDs for every episode covering (Japanese numbers) 68 till 291. Boxsets for the Garlic Jr., Androids, Imperfect Cell, Perfect Cell, World Tournament, Majin Buu, Evil Buu, Fusion, and Kid Buu U.S. sagas have also been released. However, in order to maximize profits, the DVDs were released out of continuity (certain amounts of one section of the series were released, and then FUNimation would go back and release others). With no noticeable numbering visible, this caused frustration to those trying to follow the series from start to finish. After acquiring the video rights to the first 53 (67) episodes from Pioneer, FUNimation announced that they would release these episodes uncut, with a new 5.1 English language track and uncut footage. The Ultimate Uncut Edition line was born. The release would be 22 volumes, Bilingual, and with extras. The Saiyan Saga was renamed the 'Vegeta' Saga (Parts I and II, covering 12 DVDs), probably to avoid confusion with the Pioneer volumes. No one is sure what the Namek saga would have been called. This was the same version shown on Cartoon Network. However, as of DVD volume 9, FUNimation has cancelled these box sets and are planning to re-re-release them in the new DVD sets they are currently working on. This has greatly upset fans who have purchased the expensive Ultimate Uncut DVDs, as the Vegeta Saga Part II will never be completed. FUNimation has also released Dragon Ball Z movies 4-13, finishing the release of the movies with 'Wrath of the Dragon', the 13th movie. These are all bilingual and subtitled, but do not follow the trend set by Ocean's first three movies. Music has been changed and altered, including the insertion of songs from rock bands such as Pantera and Deftones. The movies utilize the TV series Texas cast, though they also include the original Japanese version with subtitling by Steve Simmons. FUNimation re-released the first movie under the Ultimate Uncut line, but movie 2 and 3 were not named 'Ultimate Uncut' even though they had they same cover style as movie 1. All of these movies had a 5.1 English track, new subtitles, different DVD extras and come in a boxset titled 'First Strike'. However, they do not retain the original Ocean dub, and contain a new English dub produced by FUNimation's Texas cast. This version contains different music to the original dub or Japanese version. FUNimation has officially dropped the 'Ultimate Uncut' line and are working on their season boxset In November 2005, FUNimation announced they would release a remastered form of Dragon Ball Z on DVD beginning in 2007. It was later announced that "Season 1" (the entire Vegeta Saga) would be re-released on February 6, 2007. The first 39 episodes of Season 1 are spread across 6 discs, and cost $30-$50 USD (the original intention was for 5 discs, but there was a risk of quality reduction). The series has been re-transferred at 1080p resolution with digital restoration technology removing all grain and scratches from FUNimation's original prints of the series. It is important to note however, that like many late 80's-early 90's Toei productions

Everytime You Touch Goku
Dragonball Z Everytime We Touch is the debut album from trance band/project Cascada, consisting of DJ Manian, Natalie Horler, and Yanou. The album was released on February 21, 2006, after the title track single from Robbins Entertainment debuted in the Top Forty earlier that month. The album was recorded in three weeks. HMV UK has announced a re-release of the album featuring the trance and slow version of "Truly Madly Deeply" and a different ordering of the tracks, to be released on March 5, 2007. The UK Singles Chart midweeks showed Cascada to be in the top ten with this album 3 March 2007. The song Every time we touch Cascada experienced mainstream success in the United Kingdom and the United States almost a year after releasing their second American single, "Everytime We Touch". Soon after the popularity of the single skyrocketed, an album was quickly recorded and released (in a matter of months), and a music video for "Everytime We Touch" was also distributed for promotion. For these reasons, the debut album maintains a very similar formula throughout, to the extent of near-identical tempo and beats. Three singles have been released in the United Kingdom; "Everytime we Touch", "Truly Madly Deeply" and "Miracle" all of which gained top 10 status. Their album "Everytime We Touch" has experienced success in the UK Album chart where it moved up in the charts for 6 weeks since it was released in the beginning of March, peaking at #2. The album experienced success on the U.S. charts as well. Natalie has worked on many projects for DJ Manian and Yanou. Other projects that Yanou, DJ Manian, and Natalie have worked on together include the Siria side project, which spawned the singles "Endless Summer" and "I Will Believe It", the Akira single "Piece of Heaven" (follow up Akira singles have another singer, and a new production team), the Diamond single "Reason", and the Scarf! single "Odysee". Another single that Natalie is featured on is the 2 Vibez song "Sometimes", which was produced by the famous German producer and DJ, Bass-T. The German dance group Cascada (pronounced: /kæˈskɑdə/) consists of singer Natalie Horler and DJ / producers Yanou and DJ Manian. Cascada is most famous for the hit single "Everytime We Touch". The trio has also released singles under other aliases, including Siria, Akira, Diamond, and Scarf!. In 2003, all of the Dragon Ball Z TV series was finally released for home viewing in Japan, on two large DVD boxed sets, following the release of a similar set for Dragon Ball. Each Dragon Ball Z Dragonbox had a large amount of DVD extras, as well as an action figure and a book. The video and audio transfers of the show used on these DVDs came off of the Fuji TV master tapes of the show, as this allowed Toei to put out a far superior and completely accurate version of the show on DVD which was helpful since the entire plot of a season could be summed up in about ten minutes. This allowed all episodes to have their original openings, endings, eyecatches, next episode previews, etc., compared to what was available in the US. In late 2005 the Dragon Box Z DVDs were re-released in single volumes with six episodes per disc. While the packaging and DVD menus are different from the 2003 release, and so far no plans have been announced for the two TV specials and the Playdia footage released with the 2003 versions, the Audio and Visual quality is the exact same as those discs found in the 2003 Dragonbox release. At the end of March, 2006, a Dragon Box: The Movies DVD-BOX was released. This release contained all 17 Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z theatrical features, along with a book, and two scouters in the form of walkie-talkies. The video and audio are remastered, however the video is cropped and contains less picture than the full-screen versions, a common occurrence for films from Toei, based on long-running and popular TV series (See Saint Seiya, Fist of the North Star, and One Piece). All Dragon Box releases contain Japanese language audio only (with exceptions to foreign-language bonus clips), and no subtitles. As of 2000, FUNimation has released uncut versions of their Texas-based English dub on to DVD, uncut and with Japanese language track, and English-translation subtitles.

Goku and Vegeta: The End of Their Hopes (From Yesterday)
A video with Goku and Vegeta The video to From Yesterday follows in the footsteps of it's predecessors and is over 13 minutes long, telling a detailed story about a Chinese ruler. The ruler seems to be a fan of the band and requests their presence at his birthday as a present. Upon their appearance at the castle, they are presented with decrees and Jared questions, "This is a gift?" The band is then shown putting on traditional Chinese armor before meeting in an alleyway for a battle against 4 others who are dressed in identical armor. This scene is mixed with scenes of the band walking through the palace, encountering many peculiarities of daily Chinese life. In the end, 30 Seconds to Mars is shown performing in the courtyard, with fireworks in the background. Dragonball Z Created in 1998 by Jared Leto and his brother, Shannon, 30 Seconds to Mars began as a small family project. Things began to speed up quickly, however, and Matt Wachter later joined the band as bassist and keyboard player. After a small revolving door of guitarists (as the band's first two guitarists, Kevin Drake and Solon Bixler, left the band due to issues primarily related to touring), the three auditioned Tomo Milicevic to round out the band's roster. According to an interview from Virgin Records, the band's name "actually comes from a thesis that [the band] found online [that] was written by a former Harvard professor. And one of the subsections of the thesis was titled 'thirty seconds to mars' and he goes on to talk about the expediential growth of technology that relates to humans and saying that we are quite literally thirty seconds to mars. What it means to us is, we thought it best described our music, in short."[1] Although Leto is a Hollywood actor, he originally preferred not to use this information to promote the band; in fact, the band used to refuse to play at venues that used his fame to promote shows.[citation needed] 30 Seconds to Mars' first, self-titled, album, produced by Bob Ezrin, was released in 2002 to mixed reviews and achieved sales of just over 100,000. The band's second album, A Beautiful Lie, was released on August 30, 2005. For this effort, the band traveled (during the course of three years) to four different continents, including five different countries, to perfect their sound and also to allow for Jared's film career. The album was produced by Josh Abraham, whose producing credits also include Orgy, Velvet Revolver, and Linkin Park. In 2003, FUNimation began to redub the first two sagas (Saiyan and Namek) to remove the problems that were caused from their previous partnership with Saban. They also redubbed the first three Pioneer-distributed movies that were dubbed by the Ocean Group voice actors. The distribution of the redubs on DVD, under the Ultimate Uncut Edition title, began in April 2005. In the summer of 2005, Cartoon Network started showing the uncut version of the first two seasons of Dragon Ball Z. This version used the original Japanese footage, with the exception of the Japanese opening and closing themes, and has an entirely new score of music. The uncut version also featured many scenes with large amounts of blood, mild profanity and language, as well as mild sexual humor and slapstick male nudity. Generally, while some lines were maintained from the original dub, several mistranslations were also corrected. The uncut episodes was given a TV-PG rating unlike the original dub's episodes which were given a TV-Y7 rating. Although only the first two uncut seasons have been released, more are expected soon. Because A Beautiful Lie was leaked five months before its release, the band decided to include two bonus tracks: "Battle of One" (an original song that was also set to be the album's title track when it was first announced) and "Hunter" (a cover of the Björk song of the same name). To further promote the album, the band also enclosed "golden tickets" in 12 copies, which grant their owners access to any 30 Seconds to Mars concert free of charge, along with backstage access. Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band formed in 1996 in the town of Kitee. Nightwish is considered responsible for the rise in popularity of the symphonic metal genre, and the foundation of symphonic metal. Although the band has been prominent in their home country since the release of their first single, "The Carpenter" (1997), they did not achieve worldwide fame until the release of the albums Oceanborn and Wishmaster, which were released in 1998 and 2000 respectively. Their 2004 album, Once, led to Nightwish video clips being shown on MTV in the United States and inclusion of their music in U.S. movie soundtracks. Their biggest U.S. hit single, "Wish I Had an Angel" (2004), made it onto two U.S. film soundtracks as a means to promote their North American tour.
