I OWN ALL RIGHTS TO THIS WORK AS IT'S CREATOR, EDITOR AND DIRECTOR. As indicated in the title, this is a recording of the supposed 'Haunted west corridor' of Ardnabannon. Kids from schools all over Northern Ireland have been visiting Ardnabannon for the past few decades, as it now exists as a youth hostel and private activity centre. I offer my sincerest apologies, as the commentary in this recording is incorrect. I have my sources to blame for the mix up. I'm still not sure how the story is told exactly - as it seems to vary. The 'Blue nun' exists as a myth that's not chained to Ardnabannon alone; it's said that a similar tale involving the nun is passed down to some visiting Scrabo Tower in Newtownards. To my knowledge the tale told to those visiting Ardnabannon is as follows; Ardnabannon was once a holiday home to a rich and rather posh family. Their son (and only heir to their possessions) had fallen in love with one of the apprentice Nuns situated at a nearby nunnery. The heir's parents were outraged at this scandal. As the family went to leave their holiday home (as it was approaching winter) the parents summoned the apprentice nun to the building, telling her that their son wanted to meet with her. But it was a ruse. Unknowingly to the son, they chained the nun at the end of what is now the 'haunted west corridor'. The nun (not being able to escape - and being too far out of reach to attract attention) died of Hypothermia, frozen 'blue' with cold. It is now said that this soul - being unwilling to die or pass on - exists as a phantom. Said to be ever wandering the original building, searching for her love. From personal experience, this may not be the case. My colleagues told of hearing 'the drag of chains and slamming of doors' the very night of the recording. I am one of the few who have experienced the second form of rude awakenings. A piercing screaming, filling your ears - with supposedly no one being within 30 meters of you. The recording is quite short and off quite bad quality - as in the spur of the moment I did not have time to run back and get a better camera. If you look carefully, after I say "Let's take one more look down the corridor" you may be able to catch a glimpse of it. A shadowy figure following me up the stairs; the supposed 'Blue nun'. I re-edited Toni Gonzaga's video called "Catch Me, I'm Falling..." I put a story. I always thought Tin's CATCH ME has an underlying melancholic theme beneath its very wholesome and fresh tune. Now this video would sort of show that. Telling us about a star falling in love with her photographer. I'm a person who likes stories so I mixed it up a little with her new video. Think of it as a We Belong sequel. It is pretty similar to the trailer I did. Hope ya guys enjoy.
