LINDSAY LOHAN Biografia: Lindsay Dee Lohan (New York, 2 luglio 1986) è un'attrice e cantante statunitense. È nata a New York City ed è cresciuta a Merrick, Long Island. Lindsay mosse i primi passi nel mondo dello spettacolo da bambina come modella per riviste e pubblicità televisive. All'età di 10 anni incominciò la sua carriera di attrice grazie ad una soap opera. All'età di 11 anni fece il suo debutto sul grande schermo recitando la parte di due gemelle nel rifacimento disneyano di The Parent Trap tradotto per l'Italia in Genitori in trappola, ma la definitiva imposizione come attrice e principessa degli adolescenti e dei media è avvenuto solamente sei anni dopo grazie alla "perfidamente brillante" commedia adolescenziale Mean Girls. Come un adulto, Lindsay incomicia a prendere parte a progetti indipendenti, tra cui l'ultimo film di Robert Altman Radio America, presentato al Festival di Berlino. Mentre girava il fortunato Herbie - Il super maggiolino Lindsay ha registrato un album intitolato Speak dal discreto successo negli Stati Uniti ma inedito in Italia. Così facendo Lindsay si è creata anche una carriera parallela da cantante, per la quale a dicembre 2005 ha realizzando un secondo album chiamato A Little More Personal. Il 5 settembre 2006 Lindsay ha presentato al festival del cinema di Venezia il film Bobby, di Emilio Estevez. Lindsay è stata una delle star più attese al festival quel giorno. Lindsay ha iniziato la sua carriera come modella per la Ford Models all'età di tre anni, in un periodo in cui le bionde andavano per la meglio, il suo viso coperto di lentiggini, dai capelli rossi e gli occhi verdi ha saputo ritagliarsi un piccolo-grande spazio prestando volto a più di 60 pubblicità tra cui una campagna per Calvin Klein Kids. Negli anni è stata anche su diverse copertine di riviste come Vogue, ELLE, Bliss, High Club e Blenda. Dopo aver abbandonato una soap opera a cui aveva preso parte Lindsay partecipò come "doppia protagonista" nel film di Nancy Meyers dove lei doveva fare la parte di due gemelle che si incontravano dopo parecchi anni e cercavano di far rincontrare i loro genitori (Dennis Quaid e Natasha Richardson) in Genitori in trappola (1998). Genitori in trappola andò bene al botteghino incassando più di 92 milioni di dollari in tutto il mondo. I critici furono impressionati dalla performance di Lindsay; Janet Maslin scrisse: "la piccola Lohan recita i due ruoli con così tanto entusiasmo che sembra aver preso lezioni da Sharon Stone". Kenneth Turan disse: "Lindsay è l'anima del film ed è brava tanto quanto lo fu Hayley Mills nell'originale e ... Lindsay è più brava nel recitare una doppia personalità che il predecessore". Subito dopo firmò un contratto con la Disney per tre film, le fu offerto il ruolo di Penny ne L'ispettore Gadget, ma dopo sette mesi di lavoro su Genitori in trappola rifiutò la proposta. In questo periodo recitò, da protagonista, in due film tv: La mia amica speciale-Life-Size (con Tyra Banks) e Get a clue - Lexy e il professore scomparso. Ne seguì un breve periodo di pausa dopo il quale si presentò, e vinse le audizioni per la parte da protagonista in un altro rifacimento Disney, ovvero Quel pazzo venerdì, in cui Jamie Lee Curtis e la Lohan come madre e figlia le quali si trovano entrambe nel corpo dell'altra. La critica fu impressionata dalle performance di Lindsay e pure il pubblico: infatti Freaky Friday fu uno dei film dal maggior incasso dell'anno, superando i 110 milioni di dollari nei soli Stati Uniti. uno dei film che ha fatto più successo fra i giovani è mean girls, in cui interpreta una ragazza che dall'africa si trasferisce in america.non essendo mai andata a scuola incontra un gruppo di ragazze che la faranno diventare la ragazza più HOT della scuola.
