I've been playing Marvel vs Capcom for a while now and I decided to get Megaman for MUGEN because he's my favorite MvC character. Not only did I get him for MUGEN, he's now on Team Luigio. And what better way to initiate a member than have him face a player who's already a member, Homer Simpson? The reason this match took so long and was so close was because of two reasons. One, Homer has a natural defense boost of 150 due to his.........fat. Two, Megaman lacks a lot of power, but makes up for it with his high combos. And I know I used Homer's stage, but not his music. Truth be told, I couldn't find a good enough remix of the theme song, so I went with Stage 3-1 again for the music. This is unofficially Cartoon Melee 8. Peter Griffin fights two of DDR Creations' characters: Fat Albert and Duck Dodgers. This is a double match video. I've made my own edits to Peter Griffin. These edits make Peter much easier to use, and he actually combos decently now. His Steroid Man super is improved somewhat. These are the edits I have made: *Increased the volume of some of Peter's voice clips in the .SND file. *Improved Peter's walking and running animations. No offense to Warner, but I can't stand walking/running animations where the body does not sway. Without body sway, the movement looks unnatural and robot-like. *Added grunts to Peter's medium and strong normal attacks. *Increased effectiveness of the Steroid Man super. It still is hard to land, but the SuperPauses last long enough to catch some AI's off guard. *Added after-images to Peter's projectiles. *Changed the motions for all three Supers, his Uppercut moves, his Jump Kick moves. These changes make Peter much easier to use. He can now combo decently. DO NOT ASK ME FOR THIS EDIT OF PETER. I will first submit this edit to Warner and see if he likes it. MvC Peter Griffin 1.0 is available on http://www.jsmugen.net/ Here it is! This is my first attempt at working with MUGEN code! I am working on a total conversion of Warner's Peter Griffin character to play like a Marvel vs. Capcom-style character! Here I am play-testing this alpha version of the new Peter Griffin in Training Mode. I hope Warner will approve of this edit. I have given my own official names to Peter's existing moves. They should be self-explanatory: Specials: *Fart-douken *Bottle Toss *Peter Uppercut *Jump Kick *Peter Smackdown (headbutt) Supers: *Anal Torch *Steroid Man *Ipecac Attack (thanks DMajorBoss) These are the changes I have implemented: *Yes! Peter can combo now! He can even AERIAL RAVE!! Greatly increased combo-friendliness. All of his weak and medium aerial attacks can combo-link to each other now. As a consequence, I had to reduce Peter's attack to 80 to offset this new combo-ability. *The Peter Uppercut is now Peter's primary launcher (the other being his crouching strong kick). Peter can even now chase the opponent in the air to perform aerial raves. *Anal Torch: now combos properly and can be performed in the air as a combo finisher. *Steroid Man: Even greater increase in effectiveness. Can be performed in the air and even as a combo finisher in both the air and ground. *Ipecac Attack: Pauses start the moment the move is executed. As a result, the move can be used as a combo finisher or linked from a combo starter/linker. Stuff still to do: *Attack priorities fixes and hitstun/blockstun tweaks. Too early for creating my own team? Maybe... or maybe not. So yes, I thought it was time I could create my own team. I thought of the idea of having Leona in the team for the first time and making her "recruiting" other characters. And this is the first candidate for joining Leona in Team Draug: Mudman, the crazy spiritual warrior. He must fight Leona with her Orochi power released, zanny Krusty the Clown, the fast catgirl Felicia and the overpowered monk Thin Nen. If he survives, Leona will welcome him to Team Draug. Matches: - Leona by NAO&M ( Looks like NAO&M's site is gone O_o ): She has a competitive AI, but not a big thing to worry about. This version allows you to play both normal and "controlled Orochi" Leona and in all of them mixes voice samples and attacks from KOF 96 to KOF 2003. For the video, I'm using the Orochi one. - Krusty by Warner ( http://www.freewebs.com/warner12/personajeschars.htm ): Don't expect something like Homer's Brutal AI. The only concern about Krusty is not to let his attack connect or you'll know real pain. Aside from that, he's quite easy to defeat once you get him in the right place and moment. - Felicia by Mgbenz ( http://moogen.i-xxcell.com/char.html ): She's quite tough. I mean, when she blocks you, Felicia tends to push you away. And her hyper sand attack is quite painful, even if you block it. And don't underestimate her combos. - Thin Nen by iho1836 ( http://myhome.naver.com/ihoo1836/ ): Like many of iho1836's creations, Thin Nen is one Hell of a fighter. He's TOUGH and not very well balanced, so he's a good challenge as a "final boss" for this test. The background is Vegick's City, from the Freedom Fighters game done by MUGENHunter. And the music if "Go Straight!", a remix of Streets of Rage 2's first stage theme. The music from the beginning is "Neo Arcadian March" and the one in the end is "Result of Mission III", both of them from Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero: Telos.
