This is an 1997 live performance of Melissa performing her signature song at the Rainbow Room in NYC. You'll notice on the first chorus she sings it softly. Melissa has always felt that this is how the song should have been performed. Clive Davis of Arista brought Melissa the song and wanted her to belt it out as only she could. They butted heads on this but she did it Clive's way and it became one of her biggest hits. The song was written by Peter Allen after his dad committed suicide while the circus was performing in his home town in Australia. He also wrote "I go to Rio", I Honestly Love You (sung by Olivia Newton John) and Arthur's Theme (When you get caught between the moon and New York City). I'm glad Clive Davis won the argument for Melissa always does an amazing job with this song! let me know your thoughts!

Alia's daughter has followed her love to Geidi Prime despite her mother's warnings. a 1 min. clip i took of the outro jam that charlotte martin does at the end of 'keep me in your pocket.' i love this song! and i LOVE when she plays it live with this jam at the end with fern on drums. it's just really cool. :) charlotte has an amazing voice. but she also has awesome skillz on the piano and can improv jam with the best of them. so this clip of the end jam was something that i wanted to have for me...and hopefully those that love the jam will love this too. :D taken from san diego, ca show at brick by brick. 4/7/07

Despite the depressing title, this is a pro r/hr ship video! ^_^ Just a small warning, the song is in Japanese, but I have provided subtitles for those who cannot understand the language. Plus, I thought those would be easier (and more appreciated) than if I put the translation in here with the description. (annoying to refer to back-and-forth, eh?) However, if I get comments on them not being any easier, I will surely put the translation in here. (It was my first attempt with subtitles, so I apologize in advance if the timing is a little bit off ^^.. but it's pretty dang close!) Okay, this will need a short explaination! - This is Ron and Hermione's "theme" for Deathly Hallows. They have decided to follow Harry wherever he goes to find the final Horcruxes, of course, and the road ahead of them is undoubtably dangerous. Aware of that fact, and that anything can happen at any time--even the worst--they put on that 'live for the moment' attitude. Times are dark, but they know they can make it through if they have each other, etc. I made this to be in the perspective of both Ron and Hermione, but the images came out to be more of a Hermione P.O.V, but it is "from" both of them. I tried to make their location seem as vague as possible, since we have no idea, as of now, where they will be traveling for book 7. This is why there are mostly outdoorsy scenes, but you'll have to excuse the few classroom ones I had to put in ^^.. or just ignore the surrounding people. The little flashes of scenery in the middle are the places they have ventured in their search for the Horcruxes.. just so you know ^^ If the concept of a non-english song disturbs you, I beg you to give this one a chance. It is a beautiful (beautiful!) song, very powerful. The singer does an excellent job if you ask me..she has a large emotional impact. The translation is pretty much direct, which includes some sayings we may not be used to here in English-Speaking America (or wherever you are).
