A traditional dance where a lover passes out, after biting a piece of fruit, and then wakes up after the girl puts her dress over his head. Somehow twirling the girl over your head is the only way to revive her when she eats the fruit .. after they danced this dance, they then involved the audience, which was quite humorous but too long to be on this video.

Skydra Pontian Festival 1997 Michalidis - Theodoridis
This video is from the Skydra (N.Pellis Makedonia - Greece) Pontian Festival organised by the local Pontian Club. Thats me in Costume playing Daouly with Aristidis Michalidis (local musician) on the Lyra, their is also Panagiotis Theodoridis singing and Theofilos Kotakidis on Lyra. Special guest dance group was from Portoraz and St.Dimitri in Kozani who also performed the traditional Pontian "Carnival" MOMOGERA.
